But consistently never taking personal responsibility (particularly when things go badly) is definitely near the top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This week provided three examples and, bonus, all with a Michigan angle. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.michiganpublic.org\/politics-government\/2025-09-09\/michigan-judge-tosses-case-against-15-accused-fake-electors-for-president-donald-trump-in-2020\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fake electors who openly attempted to commit election fraud<\/a>, Trump himself sharing an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mlive.com\/politics\/2025\/09\/trump-shares-misleading-video-alleging-5b-money-laundering-scheme-in-michigan-budget.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ill-informed video about our state budget<\/a>, and home builder scion Bill Pulte leading the charge to fire Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook with<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/us\/bill-pulte-accused-fed-governor-lisa-cook-fraud-his-relatives-filed-housing-2025-09-05\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> accusations of real-estate fraud<\/a> when apparently it was fine for his father and stepmother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If like me, your parents raised you to take personal responsibility, to own up to mistakes and admit when you&#8217;re wrong, then you know exactly what I&#8217;m talking about.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you&#8217;ve ever wondered why people who aren&#8217;t Trump supporters get so infuriated with him and his administration, well \u2014 let&#8217;s be honest \u2014 it&#8217;s a laundry list.
