A dandy example is Grand Rapids\u2019 annual Festival of the Arts (or simply \u201cFestival\u201d as it\u2019s known here). When I hear the \u201call government is bad\u201d mantra of certain Tea Partiers prone to hyperbole, it seems like such a cop out and a disservice to those who have made it work.<\/p>\n<p>So next year, if you\u2019re feeling grouchy about government, you should really check out Festival.
