Still haven’t figured out from the GOP — am I supposed to hate government all the time or just when they tell me to?

Well, you have to specify – is this a GOP led government? If so, then we should be certain that they are running at top efficiency and with the interest of every citizen at heart. Well, again to be specific, every right-minded, God-fearing, job-holding, church going, fiscally responsible, social service avoiding, and tax paying citizen who is born of documented and legal parents (one man, one woman….not sure about those surrogate situations). Now, please have a free drink of my Kool-Aid.

Indeed. For as much as Democrats have been disparaged (and rightfully so) for some of their hopelessly over-simplified and idealistic efforts in the past (I’m thinking large public housing projects), the Republicans can be just as bad, if not worse. I’m still waiting to hear how their “government is bad” approach is going to stabilize health care quality and costs.
