Yeah, I know — jumping the gun a bit on the “back to school” theme. But I figured this would give us parents a reminder to allow ourselves to focus on the kids before summer is over.

So your saying this is all on me and my spouse? Sigh. I already knew that and am trying to ramp up my energy again for what promises to be a challenging year. There is a bilingual (French) Montessori school opening in my town for toddlers through pre-school. Right on the lake, cute little uniforms, and the draw of learning another language at the right age for it. Thank God I didn’t have this option to consider way back when they were little! I know now that Montessori isn’t the best philosophy for my ‘unique’ children but I would have invested a lot of time and energy researching this. Now it just looks a little too precious to me 🙂

So, so happy we are done with all of this. Now we get to crab about school tax millages, tax hikes, bonds, etc. 😮

Kris — The older I get, the greater my appreciation for lack of choices. I mean, some choice is good. Endless choice is debilitating. And, oui, a French Montessori school — that begins to sound like the path to endless choice.
Jim — except of course for those millages for Senior Citizen services. Pretty soon, those will be an easy “yes”!
